Whats all this about then?

Noticed it the other day when i just started the car...i for some reason switched the lights on stage 1 and the idle suddenly dropped. Then a put it on stage 2 and it dropped even further and sounded alot more inconsistant.

The idling is abot suspect anyway, but when the lights were on it was not good at all.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Blooming stroppy car!

Sounds like they're drawing more power/current than they should be, or maybe your battery is not fully charged/charging properly.

I'm sure the right answer will come along soon.

Other than the battery...is there anything else i could look into?

Would the alternator be a place to investigate...or even the relays?

Could be the alternator.....a poor connection maybe....i would be suprised if it was the relays.

There was a thread on here about battery drain which gave some useful info on how to check the circuits.

Fraid electrics are a bit like black magic to me

Sorry I can't be more help
