seat swapping

can anyone tell me if its possible to do a tempory seat swap ie i want to get my drivers seat re trimmed and still use the car i have bmw/recaro seats with all the adjusters on the outer edge if i put the front passenger seat in the position of the drivers the bolts line up but will the adjusting levers foul the centre console ...i know i wont be able to use the seat belt but its just for a few days can someone save me from getting them both out only to find they dont fit

ive heard that you can change drives to passenger seat, and swap the seat belt holder to other side, but dont no for sure. 4 door cars also have the seat belt mount on the seats but 2 door cars have them on the runner at base of B pillar.
Just look on other side of seat to see if things can be change, or borrow a seat of another zoner inyour area if your lucky.

If it's just for a few days then go for it. Like Sanchez says, youl should be able to swap the seat belt holders and all seats are interchangeable although you'll struggle with people getting int he back if you have a 2 door car with 4 door seats.

i swapped them on my 2 door no problems every thing changes

this is true as i havent yet converted my 4doors to 2 but i gotta say it has its advantages as almost imposs to get adults in back now
