Touring Rear Washer Bottle - Unable to fill!

Hi,

My 1989 touring's rear washer bottle is empty, but when I go to fill it up nothing can will go in!

The bottle is empty, but a small amount of fluid is at the top and prevents me from filling it up!

Any ideas?

have you checked the removable filter

Yep. The water level is just belowthe base of the filter.

It's like there's an air lock?

ok on the rear wiper lift uo th cap that covers the nut and spline and with a pin clear out the washer jet .have had simular problem on my touring

There's a vent pipe from the bottle that comes up behind and above the filler. Number 9 on here:

The bottle is empty! It's an odd one.
