E-30 318 iS, What are the differences . . . ?
Moderator: martauto
Hiya's, unfortunately my beloved 320i has got to the stage where it really is time to think about giving up with it
I also have an old 318i, and I have been scouring the internet for something to replace it with, ideally another e-30 as I have so many bits n bobs on my cars that may come in handy, I have come across a 318 iS in the same colour in really good condition and I was wondering what the differences were with an 'iS' so I thought I would come to the best place to find out
I seem to remember something about the suspension being totally different or higher or something so maybe I wouldnt be able to swap my lowered suspension over, I dont know, any information you can give me would be very much appreciated
Thankyou
Thankyou

It has the later M42 (16v and cam chain) engine, Mtech suspension and sports seats. I've never driven one, but they are meant to be revvy and fun - and frugal when driven gently.
E30 Touring 0.35 cD - more slippery than prison soap
