Hi,

Having problems with my 325i Cabby, its misfiring on cylinder no.5. I've checked the following:-

- compression ok in all cylinders
- no loose connections around ignition system
- all plugs sparking ok
- start up when cold and engine misfires straight away, remove No.5 plug and its bone dry and clean

Any suggestions, was thinking faulty/blocked injector....

Cheers,
Nicky.

Ends up it was a faulty injector reckon on mechanical side as nothing showing up on fault codes, thanks for the help.

Fault codes on an E30 ECU?? I think you are overestimating the abilities of an E30 ECU somewhat!
I run e30's with all the injectors permanently disconnected, and the ECU doesn't even recognise that.
