Would really appreciate a little central locking advice. After scouring this forum I found some great threads on various central locking issues.
My 88 318i saloon central lockings just died and when i was sorting the red/black wire mod, i noticed that although there is a locking control unit in the drivers footwell, there is no seperate relay? the relay plu is in place but its empty. Central locking was fine up until yesterday.
Just wondering if anyone else only has one unit and not the control unity and relay.
Very confused as all the pictures show both, and judging by the state of the plug its never had one.
