Are you confusing sidelights with dipped beam by any chance?C2HEG wrote:Ok, easy question, i want to replace my orginal headlight blubs with sum new ones, but what kind do i need for side lights and main beam (H7, H1 or wot)? 1990 325i sport.
Sidelights are one pull of the knob, dipped beam is the knob fully out and main beam is obviously the indicator stalk clicked in the direction of the dash.
(No knob jokes please)

I'm not sure, but they'll be illegal.
The 55w and legal Osram Silverstars as recommended above are very impressive bulbs anyway; they make a huge difference over standard bulbs.
If you order from www.powerbulbs.co.uk you'll get 10% off the second set of bulbs, plus free sidelight bulbs as well.

Wiring will take it, fuses need to be 10A. Voltage drop in the fairly thin wires means they won't run at 100W anyway.C2HEG wrote:No i understand they are different, if i go for 100w will i damage the car in anyway?
