I was just wondering, how much weight do you save with the alloy block?

Not much i'm sure but I thought it would be interesting just to know?

http://www.turrisimotorsports.com/race_ ... M50B25.htm states 198kg

I suppose 18-28kg is about right really?

Bare M50 iron block weighs 40kg
Bare M52 ally block weighs 20kg

I weighed them myself with some £3.99 Argos bathroom scales so wont be precise figures but close enough :)
