Hi,
Need to change the existing Goodyear tyres on my F reg 325i touring this week. It is on the standard alloy wheels. I am looking for a tyre with good grip, particularly in the wet and reasonable longevity. I have been recommended Avons but i am also interested in others.
Thanks for any help.

I've got no complaints with Venturas, but it's F1s that are supposed to be the good ones, if they're available in your size.
NCT5 is a good tyre - used by the Police over here, so can't be bad. Probably going to put a pair on the back of my motor when the BF's wear out.
Once driven, forever smitten.
Direct injection, turboed, intercooled, 16 valves giving a whopping 48.5hp/litre!!
