Hi,

Need to change the existing Goodyear tyres on my F reg 325i touring this week. It is on the standard alloy wheels. I am looking for a tyre with good grip, particularly in the wet and reasonable longevity. I have been recommended Avons but i am also interested in others.

Thanks for any help.

for 14's try either http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 0s142p1639 (decent cheap tyre)

or possibly Conti Eco Contacts? I had them on my old toledo, and they took some beating-good for 30k miles on the front (FWD car 8O )

helped a bit on the gogo juice too

You won't go far wrong with the Goodyears.

Do you mean the Goodyear Venturi or any Goodyears.

Cheers.

I've got no complaints with Venturas, but it's F1s that are supposed to be the good ones, if they're available in your size.

Just fitted some Goodyears on the back, not many choices when it comes to that size, will see what they are like.

NCT5 is a good tyre - used by the Police over here, so can't be bad. Probably going to put a pair on the back of my motor when the BF's wear out. :)
Once driven, forever smitten.
Direct injection, turboed, intercooled, 16 valves giving a whopping 48.5hp/litre!! :(
