Got a question for everyone here, are the Mtech springs on the tech 1 sports the same as the Mtech springs on the tech 2 sports?

I've got a m30b34 swapped e30 with a tech 1 kit and I'm going change my suspension from that of a stock 318i. If I understand correctly, the tech 1 sports had Bilstein b6 (HD) shocks and Mtech springs?

And lastly, does anybody have a set of 4 Mtech springs from a tech 1 sport for sale? :)

Sorry to say I haven't got a set of springs for sale and I'm not sure about tech vs 2 . However, I set up my '90 325ix with Mtech springs I got from Maximillian Importing, <www.partsforbmws.com> who got them from BMW Mobile Tradition, took a week, I think. Had to replace rears last month, one broke after 14 years of snow, salt and "potholes". Perfect combo with Bilstein HD's, 17" Koenig wheels and Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec 215/40 17 (83W)'s.

I don't think front mtech springs from a four pot iS are going to be very happy with a M30 boat anchor sitting on them!

Right, that's what I was figuring. So you think the Mtech springs for a 6pot with Bilstein B6s will sit well enough? I don't want a slammed e30, I want a respectable ride height not too high not too low.
