think thats what its called the one with the check button.
my question is can it be fitted to my 87 318i as have been given one by a friend??

no you have a check control panel that sits above the mirror the obc is fitted where your clock is.

I think you mean check control rather than an OBC. Whilst check control can technically be retrofitted you'd probably have to be an auto electrician with the patience of a saint! Lots of wires and sensors and not really feasible.

OBC (where lower spec models have a clock) is easy in comparison.
