what are lsd,s worth?
You will only see the weld once you have removed the backplate - the gears inside are welded together.lesward wrote:cant see any wleding on diffs
If you remove the backplate, you will be able to see the clutches anyway (or not).

the holes you can see in the 'spool' are huge in an open diff and you can see the gears inside. eg, if it looks different to that pic, it's not a LSD
