Hi
I've bought a set of Remotec/Borbet As to replace the OEM alloys on my E34. I plan later to convert my E30 to five stud and fit these wheels.
The tyre fitter struggled to refit the wheels and snapped a wheel bolt saying that the bolts didn't fit properly so didn't appear to tighten - so he kept tightening until one snapped!
Can anyone confirm that std BMW wheel bolts are suitable for my new wheels? The length is fine - I'm wondering about the taper angle.
Thanks

sounds like your tyre fitter is full of bull, take them to someone who knows how not to damage your stuff, cant see the taper angle being a problem.

Yeh you're right. I took some time to test fit them on the car tonight and they're fine. I'll take them elsewhere.

cheers

ask him if he used an air gun to tighten the nuts up. you have to use alot of force to snap a wheel nut lol
