My battery has died (no ignition lights), the car has been standing for a while. I need to take the battery out of the boot to charge it but I cannot open the boot. The lock is in the horizontal position and will not turn. I can open the drivers door and the passenger door but not the boot. I have tried jumping it from the under the bonnet with no luck. Any ideas on how I open the boot?

Would suggest you try charging the battery via the point under the bonnet,or via the cigarette lighter socket.
If the boot lock is siezed but the key flap thingy will allow a key in,then a squirt of oil may help.

Thanks Mate, I will try the oil, not sure if the cigarette lighter charger will work as charging it from under the bonnet didn't.
