I have a leaky boot, I know its a common problem but this may be a bit different. I know water is coming in past the boot seal, between the rubber and the boot lid.
I have replaced with new BMW rubber but not change, the seal seems tight and I have adjusted the catch. Its not particularly rusty no holes.
Any ideas welcome

If there's water where the jack goes it could be a light seal or, as I've found is common over the past few months - the aerial is not sealed properly where it protrudes from the rear qtr panel and water runs down through there.
Get the covers off the inside of the boot and you'll probably see where it's coming from.
I'm assuming the car in question is the blue cabby so it won't be the sunroof drains !

Thanks for the quick reply, water comes in to the middle of the boot (I park on a slight hill). I can see where it comes in over the seal between seal and metal rear of the top boot seal. Odd one.
