Was checking my rear brakes the other day and noticed that this clip that sits in the backplate was rotten and had broken in two leaving the cable sleeve loose in the back plate. Have rang up BMW parts dept today who weren't very helpful as to which clip I needed and said it might come with the handbrake cable. So is this the clip here on the first picture?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Part # of the clip is 34411153126, and should be less than £1.
Highly unlikely that any dealer has it in stock, but they will probably be able to get it in about a day.
