Hi Guys,

I wonder if one of you could do me a favour?

I need to see a picture of the area where the jack sits in the boot of an E30, with the jack removed. One that hasn't been welded or painted preferably.

Thanks,

Ollie

Where does it drain to mate? Should there be a hole in the under jack area?

How hard is it to replace this?

Thanks,

Ollie

There's a little flap by the wheel arch where it drains. You'll probably need to remove the headlining to replace the tube. Can't imagine why it was removed in the first place.

strange how it's missing :?

are your rear pillars wet/damp on the inside?
the pipe connects to the back of the sunroof cassete above the headlining , and a black vent that sits behind the bumper
I would imagine you could get away with removing the whole headlining as it's a bitch to re-fit !
just peel down the corner you need ,more than likely you will need to remove the rear window as the headlining is 'trapped' under the rubber :(

^^^ Cheers dude. The car rarely gets taken out in the rain, and will be being painted next year so I think I will wait till then when they have the glass out.

Thanks,

Ollie
