Hi all, just on the off chance has anyone ran a 318 without rear box, ie. straight through system with standard centre box. This would be used for track use ive heard rear box makes no difference as standard centre has a cone baffle. Any opinions appreciated.

Hi,
Not sure whether you would pass the noise test (95dB to 103dB) with just a centre box fitted..... Im on a real budget in PBMW and am planning to use a standard exhaust downpipe, centre box and fabricated rear box made from a straight through motorbike silencer (FOC!)...

I frequently run several M40s will no rear box, and I can assure you there is a considerable difference in sound level!

Difficult to tell when I'm only moving them about 50 yards from my storage shed to my workshop!
