on my new touring the washer bottle has 3 pumps obvously screen, rear & lamps. but as its snowing and too cold to
be multi-metering can some1 put a picture up of the bottle and lable what pump does what please. cheers
ps. i have a rough idea. i think front (closest to exhaust) will be screen, the front (closest to wing) would be rear and the rear (closest to battery) would be for the headlights. am i right?
its a 1990 325i the one in sig...

One in the smaller tank is for the extensive screen wash, one hidden behind the main tank is the headlamp pump, and the one in the main tank, nearest the engine, is the normal screenwash one.
As said above, the rear screenwash pump and resevoir is in the back left side pocket, and also has a level sensor which can trigger the warning LED, as well as the front one.

but the one in the smaller tank is disconected but the intesive wash still works
tad confused now in the main bottle (the big and small joined) there is only one pump conected and the 2 disconected ones are the hidden one and the one in the small bottle... so one of them is obviously the headlamp wash but the other (whatever one that is) is the mistery pump that has me baffled

I can only tell you what they should be for. If someone has been playing around with the plumbing and wiring, there's no way i can tell from here what pump does what!
Follow the pipes to where ever they go.

that was my original plan. but all the plumbing has been removed properly. its just confuses me how the car needs 4 pumps and 3 bottles for only 3 features lol. oh well. it doesnt bother me that mucg as every button i press works so i suppose im just being picky
