Bit of a dullard question but....This morning my wipers were frozen to the windscreen....stupidly didn't check the switch when I turned the ignition on..the passenger side worked normally but the drivers side remained frozen...now the motor is working fine but the arm on the drivers side is not moving....where can or do I tighten the arm back upto the spindle???

Think I must have the only E30 where the headlamp wipers work fine but the windscreen ones are buggered....

You owe me a keyboard,I was enjoying my lunchtime glass of wine!
The wiper spindle has a 'flip up' cover,it's securing nut is underneath.
Other than that, there is a support bracket at the driver's side that may now require,um,reshaping, but the rest of the linkage is pretty robust. If you need to access the linkage, you will need to remove the grilles close to the wiper arms and the bulkhead access panel from under the bonnet. It may be possible to wriggle the linkage free with the heater motor in,but that is little more than a spring clip to remove.
