The seat release on the door side of the passenger seat doesn't release the seat to fold forward on my 325i Sport leather seats. How is the seat back removed to get access to the mechanism? I have removed the two screws from the bottom but can seem to get the two plastic release handles off. Do they just pull off?

Regards,

Steve.

I have taken the handles off and the plastic trim around the handles but still can't get the backs off, any ideas?

Should just pull off - bottom first.

Is it just a case of trying to feed the seat release levers through the slot?

On one side the seat release lever is held by a screw, this will allow the lever to move into the seat back so the cover can be removed.

Thanks to you all. Eventually got the seat back off and fixed the release mechanism. :D
