Hi all,

I have just bought my second 325i Sport after a break of around six years and it is just as I remember. I do however have a couple of problems that I would like some advice on:

I locked the drivers door with the key which in turn also locked the passenger door, as expected, the problem is that when I open the drivers door the passenger door remains closed and deadlocked. I can't even open the door by pulling up the locked indicator / plunger.

I also seem to be losing windscreen washer water, I filled to the brim and it was indicating empty within the hour. Can't see any obvious leaks - is this a common problem?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Steve.

Sounds like the passenger door is being double locked, shouldn't do that unless you turn your key twice. Are you able to unlock it at all? Try unlocking your car 2-3 times then test one more time.

Is the rest of the central locking working OK? I.e. Does the boot and fuel flap lock/unlock from the driver's door, and the driver's door lock from the boot?
Will the key turn in the passenger door?

Fuel flap opens but had to use the key in the boot. The key will only turn very slightly in the passenger door and I'm a bit too worried to try to force it any more. It definitely feels deadlocked, as though something has failed whilst in the deadlocked position and can't be overridden.
