Hi all ;)
So my bonnet isn't properly aligned, i have tried and tried and can't get it working, my problem is that water is leaking over my bonnet seal in the corners, the seal is new, well a few months old but shouldn't be because of that.
I know someone have taken the bonnet off before i bought the car so i have tried to get it right myself.

Car is BMW E30 320I left hand drive.

does it fit aligned with the fenders? if not you have to try to adjust it again and again, if it's aligned probably the car had a big accident and it has not been repaired well... however my e30 doesn't even have a seal, water enters a little but have never caused any kind of problem!

I have adjusted it so that it looks ok with the fender's but doesn't make the seal water tight.

maybe it's normal, they're calculated for rain not for a waterfall... do you have any elecric part that can be damaged by water near the border?

Doesn't have to rain much before water comes in.
Well nothing will get damaged by the water other than rust in the floor, and wet carpet.
It always manage to find a way inside from the battery tray, i have tried sealing it from the outside and inside.

wet carpet isn't caused by the rain entering by the hood, it's because your interior air inlet is clogged!

Shure it is, if the water comes in the corner of the hood it will drip down to the battery stand, and from here find it's way behind the glove compartment.
I know there is a hole back there, think i have sealed it now, but because of the water there will be a new rust hole and i have to start all over again.

I have tested and seen where and how the water goes so i know where the problem is. I need to get the damn bonnet seal water tight again.
