51148132375 - front one
51141872969 - back one

Not sure about size - 82mm diameter rings a bell.

I did not know there was a difference between back and front. I bought 2 of ebay that were same part number anyway. Fitted one to bonnet and was fine still to do boot.

Yeah Ive just bought some, I think its 82mm for front and 88mm (?) for boot. Search for 'genuine' BMW badges or else you might end up with really bad quality ones :)

Bonnet & boot are indeed different - touring boot is different again.

Bonnet badge is same thickness all the way around - for a flat horizontal surface. The boot one is thicker at the top to fit nicely with the angle of the boot edge. If that makes sense.
That said, the flat ones will fit the rear. It depends on how much of a stickler you are. The eBay ones I have seen are the flat type. I got a relatively cheap one for the front and the quality is good - if it fades, they are cheap to replace
