Any ideas on why my wing mirrors don't work please? I've fixed juddery intermittent wipers and non working fogs thanks to the forum, this is on of the last jobs to make my car 100%.

Hi have you checked the fuse and switch I have had a cable broken on my mirrors once start with fuse and worked from there

To remove the switch you need two small srew drivers and push them under switch work the switch up, comes out with easy

Right, taken the switch out, dismantled it and got springs awol all over the garage floor. have you seen the size of them, about five mm long and three mm diameter. Not a hope of finding them....... :x

I feel your pain, same happened to me. Right c***. If you do find them and the little tiny metal pins, give em a clean with emer paper/wire brush, spray with silicone grease and reassemble. Mine work 100% now.

After i found all the springs!

Found the bits! Managed on ooh, about the tenth go, to re-assemble the switch and it works!
