Hi all.
I'm hoping one of the experts here may be able to help. I have a 318is and the wipers judder on intermittent. I've searched the forum and as suggested removed and checked the big relay to no avail. There is a link to wiper motor removal but that just takes me to the home page. I suspect I may need to take the wiper motor out. How? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

The problem is due to hardened old grease in the wiper motor gearbox.
The procedure for removing and renovating it used to be in our 'technical articles', but is now lost somewhere in the 'E30 wiki'.

Sorted! Job done, intermittent wipers work a treat. Took about two hours but I did take off the bulkhead panel to enable removal of the motor. Bulkhead panel is removed by taking out four 7mm bolts having moved the wiring loom out of the way. Thanks guys.
