What is the best induction kit for a "92" 318i cabby ( M40), are they as straight forward to fit as the web sites claim?
Or is it best to just leave standard?
Any advice would be great

I was did a search on this recently and someone on here fitted a induction kit with a pod filter and the car actually lost a little power and developed a flat spot..... He then Dynod it with the standard airbox and then his induction kit and the Dyno confirmed it.

as above - beleive it or not BMW did spend some time on thier airbox design, probably more time than the cheapo ebay people who make one box for all cars.
Keep your original box and if you want a slightly different noise change the filter only. but you cannot get any real gains from this (nor can you get any real gains from an induction kit) the only possible gains are to be had from feeding cold or cooler air into the filter (which BMW do on the box you have in your car already!)
