Injector Cleaner

I have seen this on the shelves of numerous motor factor places, and wondered if/how well it works, and if there is any specific one that works better than the rest? Just in case there is any confusion, it's the in the tank one I have seen.

I think my injectors may need a clean so have considered it, but want to make sure I buy one that will do the job!

I have thought that same thing. My mate put some throught his diesel ZX and it made a huge difference. That's dielsels though and it is the most bizzare french engineering.
Any ideas anyone.
I'll test some on my 325 if no one has tried any.

Don't know if ya'll get it on that side of the drink, but if you can find REDLINE brand fuel injector cleaner that's what I'd recomend. It's top notch stuff and you should be able to feel the difference.

I'm also a big plan of lubromoly based stuff, albeit it's on the pricey side of life.

Be careful, if the engine has done a lot of miles.
The carbon build up will be removed, which could lead to problems with leaking valve stem seals and burning oil.

Tried it on a 320 I had with about 100K and then had to replace the stem seals as the carbon deposits had been removed and they started to leak!

I've bin eying these sort of products but never tried them. Anybody tried the STP-stuff?

Sea Foam is the best injector cleaner that I've used. I'm not sure if you guys can get it over there though. It also works really well to suck through the vacuum line and clean all of the carbon deposits.
