Hello all,

I have had a noisey heater fan since I have owned the car, I just got round to doing something about it.

It sounds like it is catching on something, one side of the fan unit is a little wobbely. I have cut back as much of the housing as I dare but it still sounds like it is catching.

If I lift the fans slighly with a flat head screwdriver the noise stops but there is no way of keeping them lifted.

I am thinking maybe its the fan unit itself, is it a common fault that these start to go after a while?

Any ideas would be appretiated.
