I can sell you either a Mild or Wild for £30 posted. Specs are as follows:
EcoTorq M20B25 Mild; +7-11bhp, significantly enhances the torque for driveability/improved fuel economy (expect at least an extra 2-3mpg average) also improves acceleration and eliminates flat spots, plus a 6900rpm rev limit. An ideal blend for daily motoring, also works well with automatics.
M20B25 Wild; 8-15bhp increase, up to 192bhp if combined with 268/268 cam, BBTB and six-branch as per Alpina C2 2.5 spec, 6500rpm rev limit. Best suited for fast road/track day use.

18 - 20BHP gain from a chip! In their dreams! These sort of gains just aren't possible by simply changing fuel and spark maps.

PM sent. The 268/268 cam refers to the duration of camshaft fitted as standard to the Alpina C2 2.5, which was available as an option pack on the 325i Sport when new.
Cheers,

Yes, the Mild is probably best on a standard 325i for everyday motoring.otisb wrote:I guess on a standard 325i, the mild is probably better for all round drivability?

Ditto the last two posts. My engine seems to sound smoother as well and the scream she makes up to the 6,900 limit is very addictive
