ive got a 320i prefacelift and was just wondering if there are a few things to gain a bit of power, dont want the hassle of swapping engine, not after that much power, but thought that a 2.5 tb or something might make it a bit better??

any advice is wellcome, thanks :)

if you put on a 325 throttle you will have to grind back the manifold a bit so the butterfly doesn't foul on it, then a chip would help
if there wern't people like me,
with cars like mine,
who would you put down to make yourself feel better?

Short answer is no! You can tinker at the edges to make minor improvements, but what's the point? It's not like the 2.0 has any worthwhile advantages over the 2.5.
A swap to a 2.5 is hardly difficult - certainly no more hassle than most 'improvements' that may be worthwhile.
There's nothing wrong with the 2.0 engine, but it's an engine to be enjoyed as it is, or removed and replaced by a 2.5 upwards.
