e36 m3 running gear into e e30 tourin

hello ive just bought a e36 m3 (please bare with me)

i have always wanted a e30 with m3 engine and running gear so i bought a complete car which is my daily driver at the mo

great car by the way love everything about it but its not my plan to keep it this way

i want to drop the ........

box
loom
diff
5 stud

i have a good e30 lined up so what is needed apart from the 2 complete running cars i already have

Have a search around in the Engine Swaps/Forced induction section as this conversion has been done by a few.

Also have a look on www.e3024v.com

It ain't cheap to do, even after having a complete donor car to claw some cash back with. Most that have done it at home still end up spending £5K+ doing this swap.

To help you with searching, the engine in your E36 M3 is a S50B30 if the car is the 3 litre version and S50 B32 if it is the Evo.

for 5 stud you ideally want evo front struts and hubs I think and compact rear trailing arms.
Plenty of info about on it all.

p.s, s50 into e30's is not cheap!

in honesty you'd be better buying some e30 M3 suspension. I think Karan had some for sale on here not long ago
