my tec1 failed on rear axel carrier bushes. the round ones near sills where u jack the car up.

is it a big jobwats involved? anyone got it done wat did garages charge?

Special or DIY tool required to do them on the car.
One of the more hateful jobs on an E30 but piece of cake when youve done loads :roll:
Where abouts in the country are you?
If local to South Devon then id be happy to help.
Think a garage price would be about 3hrs plus parts plus VAT?

Horrible job on a project car that you do not need for work the next day!My local indipendent BMW specialist(Forrest Motors) charged me £116 to do this job.Do use a BMW specialist,I have seen quotes of more than double that price elsewhere.

thanks lads. a guy i know who used to work for bmw for 11 yrs is gonna do it for 100. so not bad if i had a ramp i would of gave it a shot.
