hi all ,

car's m20b20 jetronic ..
for a couple of months , the water temp gauge on my car was acting up ... at times the needle would flicker and sometimes just be flat/dead. on occasion it'll just be at 1/4 and would be go past 1/2 . but that's just too cold for the engine to be running which i believe is most unlikely.

just today after starting the car up and driving home from work ,
realised that now the fuel level gauge is totally FLAT/dead . even went n fillup a whole tank of gas just to be sure . still nothing.

i've been told that it could be the SI Board batteries?
are these symptoms that the batteries in the cluster needs replacing?

cheers.
greeting frm Malaysia.

Check the nuts behind the cluster. Usually work loose.
