Its been in there for a good 30,000 miles now -Anyone be able to tell me what the procedure for cleaning it is/the cleaner used on it?

Thanks and best regards,

Chris

There is a K&N kit you can buy that has the correct oil to use on the filter. I washed my filter out with warm water, left it to dry, and re oiled it using the k&n oil

here is the officiel instruction: http://www.knfilters.com/cleaning.htm
Why is there not enough time to do it right, but allways enough time to fix the errors - I borrowed that, just so reallistic in my line of work.

The unofficial instructions, which I always follow:
Remove clips from filter housing.
Remove K&N filter element.
Toss filter element into nearest bin.
Fit OE paper element.
Refit clips.
