replacing the fuel pump, are there any extra bits I might need, i.e. seals, rubber compound, etc? And any tips, other than disconnecting the battery?

New hose clamps/jubilee clips if the origionals are still fitted.

What on earth for?? I raid scrapyards for BMW hose clips to use on other newer cars in place of the OE rubbish usually fitted.

i keep all nuts,bolts and clips etc off the fraggers i've had.
canny handy to have.

I meant to replace the crimped type which will probably be fitted. Jeesus Brian calm down, you don't think I buy new for my turd do you?
