I bought an e36 rack to put on my 89' 316i but the input shaft is on the exhaust manifold. Not just close but touching, I've tried the front and back holes on the subframe brackets and putting spacers above and below the rack but can barely get enough clerance for a rizla!
I've been through some threads on racks including the 14 page epic that is Schueys conversion guide but can't find anything about m40d cars. Has anyone managed this or is it another excuse to bung an m42 in? lol
E36 rack into an E30 with an M40?
