Iv a e30 325i sport. Hasnt been drove in couple of months so the batterys dead. Only thing now theres no power I cant get into the boot to get at the battery. And no the key doesnt open the boot. How can I get into the boot? Can ya put jump leads on somewhere under the bonnet to give it enough power so the central locking will open the boot?

any help will be very grateful!!

Hi there, If you go under the bonnet the corner of the drivers side, just by the windscceen, there is a thick wire coming through the bulkhead (when i say thick its about 10mm thick you cant miss it). This is the live from the battry in the boot.

There is a plastic cover over the end of the terminal, release this and wou should be able to get a jump lead to the bare end of it.

The neutral can be conected to any bit of bare metal on the car bodywork.

Hope that helps
