Remove all of the adjuster eccentrics and the rocker locating clips on the exhaust side.
Remove the rocker shaft locating plate at the front of the head, and the rubber D at the back.
Push any rockers that are loose sideways off of their valves, turn the crank until the remaining rockers come loose, then slide the shaft backwards to remove your broken rocker.
Don't forget to refit the locating plate when you've fitted everything back - it's absolutely essential.

hmm so it sound an easyish job, but all them names have confused me lol, would you have a diagram naming all the parts. i kind of get you but unsure about this locating plate? sounds like a couple of hours work at the most.

how can i check all the other valves are correct?

thanks

22mm nut on the end of the crank.
