i read somewhere that disconnecting the water hoses on the throtle body and joining them together make the tb cooler as they they are to help it warm up in very cold weather is this correct? as i done this thinking it made sense as its never that cold here,, but i just read they are for cooling it rather than heating it up? have i made a mistake, what do they really do?

Do use a single length of suitable hose, this eliminates two pipe joins and therefore two places where water can leak from. Does seem silly to heat the T/B when we go to a lot of trouble to encourage cold air to enter it!!
