How do i remove the rear seats on my cab
Moderator: martauto
The bench should pull up from the front, it migth be quite tight and then it just lifts out. With this removed, you will see a bolt on either side which you can take out. Then the back rest slides upwards and comes out.

The lower section either just pulls up sharply to remove, or there may be a couple of bolts just below the lower edge of the seat cushion (possibly with plastic covers) which need removing prior to pulling the cushion up sharply.
Remove bolts from the bottom of the seat back, then lift the seat back up off its retaining hooks.

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
Not strictly related but I understand there is a blower for the rear screen on a Cab and is that how you access it? The button on my dash lights up when you press it but nothing seems to happen on the rear screen - any ideas or suggestions?

I would assume so, i'll let you know once i have taken the seats out (hopefully lol). Its a de-mister for the rear screen, works well when its frosts over-night.

Yes you can access it that way, the blower is functional when you have the soft top in place, otherwise when the hardtop is fitted it is isolated and the hardtop electric window comes into play.GTXcess wrote:Not strictly related but I understand there is a blower for the rear screen on a Cab and is that how you access it? Any suggestions as to fault finding if the switch illuminates but nothing happens with the blower - I assume it is linked to the micro switch which is in the horsehoe by the frame mech for the soft top? I haven't pulled the seat out yet but an idea of what I should be looking for would be really helpful.HartgeH27 wrote:
