On both my 318 and 320 i'm having starting problems, but especialy the 318 they will not start untill dead cold. I mean been sitting for 4-5 hours cold. I've changed the battery, starter motor, fuel (white) relay, thermostate, coolant. Could any body tell me whats wrong. It will start with the slightest of extra charge i.e. the crappest of battery charges or the slightest push. help me please

sounds like alternator to me...
if u dont have a multimeter, get one....then whith the engine started, check the voltage across the terminals on the batteryl... if it is less than 13v.... then it is for sure an alternator issue... this could be the alternator itself or the regulator that is screwed into the alternator casing (white thing with 2 screws)
it could also be a battery drain prob.....
check the alternator as i said abpve
if u do get a good 13v plus... then its a drain issue and ull have to check different car systems for drain by removing fuses etc and measuring the drain...
hope that helps
