Assuming there's pressure in the fuel rail, and there are sparks at the plugs, check out the plug and socket under the middle of the inlet manifold, where the injector loom connects to the engine loom.
Water gets into this connector, and rots wires under the rubber boot of the lower half.

Check is there the fuel supply and return connected properly to the rail(not contrariwise). Inspect the injector plug , which is under the inlet port. Check the ignition system: the voltage to the coil and spark on its HT terminal.
If there is no fuel and spark while crank revving, then inspect CKP sensor. Is there everything OK in the engine bay(hoses, connectors etc. ?)
ps : oh Brianmoooore, you appeared a bit faster than me ))
Dear englishmen, if I make a mistake, correct me please ))

He's probably meaning the DME relay, but if the fuel pump runs, this relay is fine, as far as power to the injectors goes.
DME relay does have a second switched output that feeds power to the ECU, but I doubt that you'd get sparks and pump if this supply was missing.
