I know this has probably been asked a million times.i was quoted 400 pounds labour to put a 325 m20 engine in my 318is but i have to source a doner car.....
what i was wondering was is there any other conversion that is better than the m20 and is there going to be alot more work involved...
i would really love to put in a s14 but im unsure of the work involved

There are infinite options only restricted by your imagination and budget.

Direct fitment engines = Anything from an E30.

There are loads of other engines that will fit but all will require varying levels of fabrication.

a 3.5 conversion is possible from a 535i e34 preferably as a donor.

this is 220hp and ive been in one that was geared to 130mph and the acceleration was shocking!!! torque is unreal

the 2.5 conversion u speak of is a good one and easy.. that price is also very good
