strange wiper related problem

i was on my way to work on friday and thought i would put my wipers on second speed... all of a sudden the windscreen wash decided to empty the resivour and there was nothing i could do about it... i tried turning the wipers off but it was still coming out. got the light come on for low windscreen wash... when it was emptied i could still hear the motor going! it stopped when i turned the car off while i was in traffic... anyone else had this happen??

If it's still doing it, pull out the wiper control module (biggest thing in the fusebox), and see if it stops.

i havent used the car all weekend so i thought i would take her round the block, put the wipers on and its fine.. wtf that was all about i dont know!

yep that happend to me last wed pulled the wires of the pump reconnected and its not done it since touch wood

happened to me when I got a (spare) fuse caught under the relay..do what Brian says or it might happen again
