as title, the accelerator pedal feels really stiff when depressed.

there is also the same problem with the clutch pedal.

Is this normal for a 325i as i have only my 320i to compare it to.

Any information or advise would be greatly appreciated.

The accelerator cable seizes-up. Disconnect it at the TB, hold it up and run some penetrating oil down between the inner and outer cables. Work the inner cable in and out and after a few minutes you'll feel it begin to free-off.
Clutch is more likely to be a "heavier" diaphragm spring in the cover assembly. If that's the case, there's not much you can do about it other than to change the clutch. Always the possibility that a new one may be the same - or heavier - though. The springs do vary.
