Hesitates

Every now and then when i put my foot down the engine will hesitate for a good second. Its an 89 325. Any ideas ?

possibly air flow meter, but could be any number of things such as dodgy earth strap etc etc etc

Ok give me an idea which is favourite and i will go from there, it is also fitted with a mid range chip, dont know if this has anything to do with it ?

when was the chip fitted and did it do it before?

I would think about swapping the original back and see what happens

where did the chip come from?

it didnt do it before i will swap it over and see what happens. I bought it from a well known e30 specialist.
