Hi all i have tried seaching but cannot find a thread with the issue i have.
The problem is when i lock the car at the drivers door it deadlocks the car(key turns 1/4 turn) so i can only unlock it from the drivers side. This is becoming a bit of a pain as i have three young kids to pile in.
does anyone have an idea how i could solve this please.

Problem will be with the metal plate and microswitch just the other side of the door skin from the driver's lock, or the L shaped piece of alloy on the end of the lock barrel has seized on it's pivot. Either way, take off the door card, flip off the large U clip, and take the barrel out.
