I'm removing the M10 from my 316 tomorrow. I'm planning on removing it from above with the 'box still attached. If I get enough of an angle on it is it possible?

Oh yes it will go no problem! even go back in the same way if you would want to do such a perverted thing!
It is meaningless to ask; which is real, 'real' or imaginary? It is simply a matter of which is the more useful description

All going smoothly. We got a bit of a late start and packed up early, but we took the bonnet off, got the exhaust off to the manifold, took off the propshaft, disconnected the wiring and plumbing and all the ancillaries. Then we loosened the engine and gearbox mounts ready for removal tomorrow. Not bad for 5 hours work I reckon. I dont remember the propshaft being so easy last time.

M42 2.0 stroker, itb's, cams, lightened valvestrain, etc winkeye

Standard M42 for the moment though, the new engine is a project in itself.
