I bought a rear battery conversion kit a while ago for my 316i coupe shell but I think I'm missing some parts.
Does anyone have any photos of said parts? Particularly where the cable comes through the front and rear bulkheads. I think there's a 'lug' which is bolted to the OSF strut tower for jumpstarting (there is in the e36).
Any photos would be appreciated. Cheers.

There is no lug on the strut tower but there is a pattress that bolts to the bulkhead above the battery tray. That gives you a +ve point to connect onto and also provides the connection points for the fused +ve supply and the unfused starter motor/alt feed.

Have a look at realoem.com - the pics of the battery parts on there are pretty good.

Pics on RealOEM look like the cable clamps to the bulkhead #4 goes to the starter and the lug between #10 and #11 goes to the fusebox, right? #1 and 2 don't apply.

1 is the positive and 2 the negative for a normal battery setup.

4 should be the replacement lead for a rear battery i think. ive looked briefly at this cos im doing the same thing but ive not got round to fitting it yet.

Yeah IIRC 3 and 4 come crimped together. I'd like some pictures of where they come through the bulkhead because I can't see anywhere, unless they come through where the loom mets the ECU. Is there a blank to punch through?
